But from my understanding if contact begins outside the box and continues inside the box, a penalty is given. I thought the red card was harsh as a United fan, but it was a penalty.
You can see in the slow mo video Cunha turning and having a quick step to get the ball, and defender begins to hold him outside and continues to tug on his shirt.
Maybe Glassner has misunderstood the rule on how penalty is given in these situations.

What an insufferable idiot. Eze must be so glad to be out of his insufferable clutches.
Making excuses for losing to Banterchester united is such a SMALL club thing to do. I know we lost to Banterchester united, but that was because of luck. It isn’t an excuse. They scored worldies and all of our chances were wasted.
But that’s why CP will never be a BIG club. They win one of the biggest trophies in world football and continue WALLOWING in mid table. Embarrassing attitude when teams like Brentford and Brighton exist, not even very good teams but so much better than CP.
That’s why they lost Eze. That’s why they lost Guehi to ManCHEATER City. And that’s why they’ll lose Mateta in the summer. I’d honestly rather they get Relegated so I don’t have to hear about Glasner anymore. Who knows, maybe they will next season. Them and T*ttenham if T*ttenham don’t somehow get Relegated this season.
And now Eze is going to win the PL with us. What a massive career jump. He must be so glad. So happy.
At least CP are a free six points for us every season.

I just want someone to explain to me how double jeopardy doesnt come into effect here- he said that it was a red for dogso, but you cant give a red for dogso and a penalty no? Am I being an idiot and missing something obvious?
