The idea is right, but the personnel isn’t.
I’d rather McCowan got the start and Nygren was brought on later.
If this is a 4-3-3…the same old problems lose us the game. We’ll win fuck all at the edge of their box in terms of second balls and get passed through in two or three touches…over and over again.
If it’s 4-2-3-1, we’re probably still too lightweight in the middle and relying on Araujo or KT to come infield and offer an extra body. Though I’d be marginally more confident of it being 1-1 at the hour and there for the taking once McCowan, Reo and Tounekti inevitably need to come on.
I’d also have started Cvancara for his height at set pieces, at both ends of the park.
