      Ten hags mistake imo, there was a moment before the yellow card where casemiro had to come in to the rescue and make a tackle because Varane was out of position. I think ten hag should have realized then it’s too risky to keep casemiro on. You gotta trust Fred or Mctom to come in and see the game out for the remaining ten mins.

      Lets not act like after all the nonsense Mcfred have caused over the years everything is forgotten they can't be fully trusted. Fred has improved and Mctominay does what he can but they're clearly nothing close to reliable to guarentee points against even Palace or else of course he would've rested Casemiro. We do not have another talented DM that can do what he does. So yes Ten Hag had no choice but to play him

      Of course it is, I mean tell us something we don't know. In all seriousness it was a stupid lunge one that perhaps he shouldn't of made as that Palace player wasn't really going anywhere. He played a blinding game tho Casemiro. He'll be a massive loss to us but I'm sure Ten Hag has a plan for Sunday's game with Arsenal, I mean we already beat them earlier in the season we can do so again. At the end of the day these things happen just gotta accept it & move on

      Casemiro is also responsible for Palace equalising. Piss poor preparation, he should have known that Olise is one of those players you just don't give free kicks to. I get he's probably never heard of him but thats where you're supposed to do your homework. You've a better chance of not conceding by not making that foul and allowing the attacking player to go through. Olise is in that category of Ward Prowse, Maddison etc. Giving them free kicks is nearly as good as giving them a penalty. You just don't give these players free kicks. Poor coaching by not making Casemiro aware of this. Poor preparation all round. Reminds me of the Solskjaer era when he'd consistently allow Neves to stand unmarked on the edge of the box at corners. Part of the job is to analyse the opponent and not play into their hands. It's the equivalent to when goalkeepers dive into the corner when Deeney takes a penalty, when five minutes of preparation in the days ahead of the game tells you he always belts it down the middle.

      Why do you keep saying he doesn't think they can hold on? They didn't hold on, they might've gone on to lose the game if he was off.

      He went for 3 points in an easier game rather than throwing points away and hoping some how they can beat the best team in the league at their home on the weekend.

      I understand what Goldstein means because the buck stops with the Manager as he is the one who fields the players however, I fully agree with Bent on this one. Casemiro is an experienced player and should have known and done better.

      Saka and Saliba have been in the same situation since the West Ham game. Arsenal fans lived in fear every week afraid they’d miss Newcastle or spurs or United. They both play on Sunday. Not ETH fault, managers need to play their best players. Players need to be responsible for their own actions. They’re adults not children

      Totally agree with Andy on this one. Which isnt always the case. Fred and mctominay could of easily been brought on and protected the 1-0 lead. While at the same time thinking about the next game against Arsenal. I find it hilarious how its seen as suddenly a taboo for a manager to make decisions during a game thinking about the next game ahead. Players are constantly rotated during games while thinking of the next game due to fitness etc. Why couldnt it have happened in this game due to the potential suspension of casemiro?

      Casemiro made a mistake and got yellow carded for it simple, since when yellow cards on players are the manager fault? I don't think Ten Hag asked him to be yellow carded…
