He deserved the MOTM today, Vini had a shout as well, and I truly hope he continues to perform at this level.
With that being said I do think it’s important to point out how he has gotten better ever since he started playing next to Camavinga and Fede was back in the midfield as well. Tchouameni’s flaws still exist. We saw him get beaten very easily on multiple occasions, especially on the counter, we saw him misplace tackles, and we saw him not be able to do many forward passes. It’s just that now he is able to be covered by Camavinga or is able to play a lateral pass out to Fede and Camavinga and get out of the pressure.
