    >Manchester United have joined the Premier League clubs monitoring Morgan Gibbs-White’s situation at Nottingham Forest.

    Monitoring. Not much more

  2. Don’t hate it, basically better than mount and backup to Bruno. Could be involved if we use a midfield 3 in the future as well. Wouldn’t make sense to have him and mount around though so likely signaling the end of mounts tenure.

Not sure why we are interested though. We basically have cunha and Bruno in his role.

He’s a good player. If Forest goes down and he is available for a reasonable fee, pretty good cover to replace Mount.

Not sure he’d want that role though tbf. Lots of good teams he could be starting for.

Pretty good read. Morgan Gibbs White has a relegation release clause so he would be an interesting option as an attacker as long as the fee is reasonable. He’s still only 26 and is a United supporter so he’d be open to the move.

only makes sense if we’re moving mount on, but if we’re getting ucl you’re gonna need backup like this

  7. He’s genuinely a very good player, and if Forest go down, it would be silly to not try take advantage of a cheaper price.

Anderson rightfully gets heaps of praise, but MgW flys under the radar a bit.

  8. I’ll just say after years and years and years of complaining about us not taking advantage of opportunities like this (relegation release clauses, cheaper players from relegated teams, free transfers), I’m glad that INEOS has finally got it together.

Signing Cunha and Mbeumo is fine but really any sporting director can make it happen. We need some of these Madison, Bissouma, Lavia, Tielemans type signings (I realize some of these signings haven’t worked out for the teams that signed them due to injuries / off field stuff but that’s not on the recruitment team)

We could’ve done a whole midfield rebuild just using free transfers if we were on it.

  9. I’d be surprised if we weren’t already monitoring his situation, considering we’ve been linked with him in each of the past 5 or 6 transfer windows.

I cannot unsee _that_ interview video, so in my head he is a Man Utd fan and that will always make me like this idea a bit.

It just goes to show how many permutations are possible, imho.

Yes it is possible we end up with a permanent coach who _doesnt_ prefer a system in which there is a left-winger who holds width himself, and/or we end up actually being able to move Mount on, and/or perhaps we are just (smart if true, imho) making contingencies in case Bruno does the unthinkable, etc etc etc.

At the end of the day, _if_ Forest got relegated, he would be a great pick-up opportunity for whoever can fit him in – so we would be silly not to look when, in fact, there is a possible permutation where that could end up being us.

Having said that, it feels way more likely that we end up with one of the scenarios where an AM is not the right profile signing for us in 2026 than with a scenario where it is.

    We’ll see, I guess!

    I’ve been closely monitoring Pedri.

Does that mean he’s gunna sign for my grassroots team ?

  13. Feels like an option if INEOS try to cash in on Bruno again this summer.

Doubt we’ll go for him if we view him as bench option to sub in for Bruno because Bruno plays all games he can and he plays them in full too.

  14. Hes a workhorse and a proper all rounder. United fan too. Very very fit and would be an excellent replacement for mount. Theres a reason why city were sniffing around him this summer, not just spurs.

  15. I like him. Doesn’t scream a profile we need but at the same time we will need a bigger squad with more quality next year. Our bench looks sparse.

  16. Great player but unfortunately his best qualities overlap a lot with Bruno, so can’t see him fit in out first team
