There was a movie theatre there, and we'd go to the rooms, not to watch movies, but to hide with a laptop so Gianluigi Buffon could place bets. My job was to advise him.
I'll never forget that 'Gigi' was good at betting on lesser-known leagues or ones that weren't very common. The first time we did it, I was shocked when he said he was going to pick the winners of some Serie C matches in Brazil.
I won't lie, he lost several times, but he actually won way more. He had a feel for it and made quite a bit of money. Other teammates found out and started asking us for advice."

Felipe Melo is the biggest piece of shit to ever put on a Juve uniform. Anything that poor excuse of a man says is not to be believed. Leadership didn’t like who he was because he sucked, was lazy, and didn’t care to play for Juve. He’s made numerous, inaccurate accusations about other leaders on the team as well
Absolute bullshit id say. Felipe melo is an absolute gobshite of a man in general. There is no world where his “job” is to give advice to anyone. He is just namedropping buffon and then spinning a story where he is the cool guy.
As long as:
1) you use the legal betting channels
2) Don’t ruin yourself or others financially in the process
3) Don’t bet on anything remotely connected to your team
I don’t care if a players gambles or not.
Listening to either of these two men talk should disprove this
Gigi is a considered and clever man. Felipe Melo talks like he’s recently suffered a traumatic brain injury. The idea Buffon wanted any advice from him is laughable
