  1. Are arsenal the best team in the league? Yes. Will I belly laugh relentlessly if they don’t? Absolutely

  2. *In danager of, destined too, on unavoidable crash course with, forever locked in sync with failure,*

*sure, why not its much funnier this way. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving fan base.*

Hopefully not, and frankly we have more than enough talent and depth that this conversation shouldn’t even be happening

Still, if we keep playing like we did yesterday… there’s only so many wake up calls you can ignore

  4. I genuinely thought they had it in the bag. None of the challengers look capable of putting together 7 or 8 consecutive wins. Even Arsenal couldn’t blow this one. They had breathing room

Now, the breathing room is gone. The pressure will mount, especially with how comfortable they were. They will be aware of the “bottlers” tag and that will bring extra pressure by itself.

City will know this and I think they take it from here.

  5. It’s entirely possible.

I would back City now as they have more experience in winning tight title races. I did feel that City’s win at Anfield could be a major turning point in the title race

  6. People slating Arsenal, least we are trying to mount a challenge, wtf are you lot doing? I’ve even seen Liverpool and United fans wanting City to win, it’s mental. Never in a million years would I want my local rival team to win.

  7. Think they’ve taken 10 points from a possible 21 in last 7 games. Seems like a massive missed opportunity to put themselves out of reach.

They’ve had it in the bag twice now and fumbled around this period. The mentality of the club might shift if they win it, but at the moment it must be mentally tiring – every game must be 3 points or it is a disaster. They were completely defeated the other night and they’re still 5 points clear! Throwing themselves to the ground, Jesus headbutting players.

They were doing victory laps when Klopp left too!

Honestly, I still think they’ll win the league this season (mainly because Man City and Liverpool aren’t at their strongest), but the club’s mentality and their attacking tactics are concerning.

I hope they blow it. There are very annoying. Them and their fans are just in your face all the time.

the biggest take away from the wolves and brentford game is how the arsenal players were starting fights with players that have nothing to do with their season. you can say they’re good when they’re doing well but as soon as the cracks show all you see is soft, sloppy and pathetic players.

  12. It’s just odd to see a team that is supposedly miles ahead of everyone only be 5 points ahead of a fairly average City side, who have shown they’re more than capable of dropping points from winning positions. I’d understand the small gap a bit more if City also looked incredible.

They were since last season and the season before that, basically since Arteta started there.

Thing is 07/08 Arsenal were up against the best United team this century while 25/26 Arsenal are up against a lacklustre (by their standards) City side. Pains me to say it but they’ll probably hold on for the title

  15. Losing Merino has fucked it for them, I said as soon as he got injured they are fucked now.. he’s not even that good but he’s probably better than all of their strikers 🤣 he was Mikel’s get out of jail card.
