£15m a year for a player that has been our best player of the last 5-6 years at this point. And England player of the year at least twice in that time. Bargain.
The last 12 months or so could have been better but I’m not betting against him getting back into form.
Before his injury issues at the start of last season, he was unplayable.
Edit. I know everyone’s a slut for G/A these days, but he’s put in a load of good performances in the last 12 months too, they’ve just not got you many points in FPL … so I guess that means he’s ‘washed’.
