Athletic article on AVFC Women’s (and women’s football attendance broadly)

What is obvious is to attract attendance the Aston Villa women’s team need to win more games.

They have won 2 games at Villa Park all season and a relegation battle is not out of the question.

Even with a lot of fun events around the stadium on the day of the game for children, going to games is a hard sell if the team is losing every game and the team has conceded 11 goals in their last two games.

Of course building a winning team is easier said than done.
