  1. I was pleasantly surprised by Eddies tactics against VIlla – it worked! So he can adapt! Woltemade is such a gifted technical player and that game showed how we've been underutilising him.

  2. Will be really interesting to see how Eddie tries to solve this issue. Personally, I think we have the players to cover, and Eddie has shown over the past couple of games, he's more open to adapting the system to the players we have, rather than the other way around. Bruno's availability and injury record has been outstanding since he joined, but we're finally being pushed to solve this problem, which, if we want to be a top team, needed to be addressed.

  3. this is a rough take and im definitely biased here, but i loved will osulas game at villa. linking up with harvey, great runs through the back. when gordon came on for him, it didn’t make any difference at all. he’s got the pace and press that gordon brings as a 9, but tricky runs, link up play, and good one on one abilities that neither woltemade or wissa completely have. now that bruno’s out, i’d like to see woltemade in the midfield, osula (not starting immediately) getting minutes up top, and willock as a super sub.

  4. For me, if we’re doing a 4-2-3-1 with the players we have fit right now I’d go: Trips Thiaw Botman Hall, Ramsy Tonali, Elanga Woltemade Barns, Gordon. Which I know is crazy having a winger play ahead of your central striker, i just think he gets in the box were we need him to be better than Woltermade. I don’t think Gordon even scores that many goals but in my head he sets up the rest of the team for goals in this roll.

  5. Think we may need to play a back 3 more until Tino is back, Tripps would get destroyed for pace by most wingers being isolated as RB in a 4-2-3-1. Especially with Barnes in front of him.

  6. Woltemade playing as the 9 with Willock as the 10 is more my preference, Wissa has been really lacking in movement off the ball so far, hopefully he can get into better form but honestly even Osula looks more threatening. Also Miley and Livramento are only a couple of weeks from playing which will be a big help.

  7. the key point you make here is that we cant lose Bruno and then try to play like for like. there needs to be a change of system. well said.
If we had the luxury of more defensive cover I would love to bring Hall higher into a midield position. his ability to carry the ball is second to none in our squad. also he likes to move though the middle which is also rare in our squad as other like willock gordon barnes elanga all default to going wide even if then to cut back inside closer to goal. Hall provides a drive though the middle which i would love to see more of. finally i was glad to hear some positive remarks about trippier as he has been heaviliy criticised of late. sure he has had some bad moments and is arguably losing the abiliyt to run but he is very creative going forward and offers alot in the final third

  8. Dear Meron,
    Canny video as always 👍
I would prefer The Berserker 🇩🇰 to The Doctor 🇨🇩 to partner Big Nick Energy 💪🇩🇪😁🙏 Mainly because The Berserker 🇩🇰 has more raw pace than The Doctor 🇨🇩🙏
    Regards,

  9. The way we set up against Villa was great to see. I can see that system working great with Tino at RB and an upgrade on Murphy (whether thats Barnes or Gordon)

  10. Losing Bruno allows Tonali to play higher up which brings out the best in him. In that debut game he tore Villa apart playing from the same position. BNW is also much better as a #10 and has less pressure to score too, just wish he would take more chances to shoot though

  11. Tonali was allowed to score because this season he was pushed back to a more defensive position without Bruno he was pushed back up the pitch again and scored the goals this is why we really need joelinton cause he can fill that role in again in the more defensive position

  12. I kinda like how we set up against Villa, 4-2-3-1 with Woltemade at 10 position, and Osula upfront and Tonali & Ramsey/Joelinton for the pivots.
