Bisseck is great and I think one of the player that excites me most but he fumbles big time in important games sometimes and I think these mistakes go away just with experience, But the point is we are playing him as starter now and he has lot to learn yet. Luis is just unable to do well defensively though I am liking what he has been doing defensively and he is only getting better with time. The only problem is, if we wanna seriously compete in multiple competitions we need players who are already ready and reliable in every match. These kind of mistakes can cost us important points. That is why I would love to have Bisseck and Luis as depth options and potential starters in future but they need time to gain experience. This is where I feel we could have benefited with a good market and arrival of a nice experienced CB like we got Akanji but again at loss of Pavard. I think we still can get the Scudetto this season with this squad but if we wanna stay competitive we need serious moves in this market. I think our midfield is good enough with arrival of Stankovic, but we do need a GK who can produce world class saves, a CB for deficit of SDV and Acerbi (I dont know why Chivu seems reluctant on using SDV but if he does, we need replacement) and someone at RWB, especially if Dumfries leaves.

People will point at Henrique not marking his player but the ball should have never got there in the first place – Bisseck must clear the ball there, that’s what a good defender would do.

  2. this was more on Bissek than Henrique, that ball came in fast and bissek should’ve tried to clear it. Now admittedly Henrique was a little sleepy here but he also was caught by surprise from Bissek letting the ball trough.

Both Bisseck and Henrique lack serious situational awareness and concentration at times, which often leads to face palm moments like the one above

That said, Bisseck at least offers clear redeeming qualities. His pace and explosiveness are out assets in both attack and defense. See his header, which could have been a goal and his last minute sliding interception on Yidiz today

Henrique, on the other hand, I still am struggling to identify what Henrique’s stands out quality is. He clearly saw Cambiaso drifting in behind him, then reacted to the loose ball from the corner without recognizing THAT WAS THE DANGER. At this level, that lapse in defensive awareness is unacceptable. This isn’t backyard football anymore
