I’m torn on this. I like Ange, dont think he meant any malice towards the club and think he means well.

But not sure feeding The Overlap headlines like this to be taken out of context is the answer. Then again, maybe a kick in the backside from the media is what this club needs.

    2. Good.

They pulled the wool over our eyes years ago. They convinced us about the stadium. They thought they were right about sacking Poch without backing him.

      We deserve this.

    3. It’s annoyed me that what he said has been taken completely out of context for a click bait headline.

Anyone with half a brain knows Tottenham are one of the biggest clubs in the country and 9th richest in the world.

But the owners are not running the club like we are, that’s all he said and it’s correct.

Anyone who’s actually watched the video knows that Ange didn’t make any “explosive” comments, he articulated his viewpoint calmly and clearly, and rather fairly.

    5. Frank reminds me of the Substitute teacher in school. No one would care about listening to them and they could never control the classroom.

I bet his meetings by the end consisted of him standing there waiting for everyone to be quiet for an hour until the meeting was over…

All he really said boils down to tottenham being a business first, and a football club second. There is absolutely nothing incorrect or inflammatory about anything he said because it was all facts, and deep down all spurs fans know this. The media just will use headlines to get clicks from others that don’t know the specifics.
