That bench is absolutely fucking stacked. The difference the window has made is mental. The only one I’m a bit iffy over is Djiga, but I’d assume fernandes isn’t fit enough for 90 minutes after being out. This is setup to play a different rotation against hearts as well, which he’ll get shit for if it goes wrong, but will look a genius if he gets 6 points this week.

It’s fine to make the other players step up their game and give them a chance, but there are a few too many changes for my liking.
Every game is a must win game from now on if we’re going to win the league.
If this works and we’re able to win without some of the best performers in recent games; then it will make us all the stronger for the run in – as it will provoke healthy competition for places.
If it doesn’t, then it could be catastrophic, as small margins could make or break the league.
I hope the guys who have been given a start will make the most of it and show why they’ve been picked.

I’m assuming the game plan is to tire Motherwell out and bring on the fresh legs and kill the game. The game has to be in reach when you do that though and that’s the issue. The ball has to stick in forward areas tonight and we have to create way more than we did against hibs if we want to win.

Defence and midfield makes sense, not sure about starting Chermiti or the wing combo of Moore and Gassama though. Win and everything is great.

That looks like quite a static midfield 3, I’d like Mikey at 10, but who knows how it’ll shake out. Maybe he is and Gass is floating as a split striker. Dan the man has earned my trust. Solid bench.
