Ten-man Everton were left frustrated at Hill Dickinson Stadium after falling to a 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

The Blues’ five-game unbeaten run looked as though it would roll on when Iliman Ndiaye’s clinical first-half penalty gave David Moyes’ side a lead at the interval.

Everton were made to pay for a pair of missed opportunities after the restart, as the Cherries – just as the Toffees had done to Fulham three days’ previously – hit back and turned the game on its head with what turned out to be a nightmare eight-minute spell.

Rayan headed home a leveller and, three minutes later, Amine Adli put the visitors in front with another close-range header, before Jake O’Brien was shown a straight red card for the denial of a goalscoring opportunity.

Despite intense late pressure, Everton couldn’t find a moment to take something from a game in which they dominated for large parts.

  1. Bag of shite. Got some great players but something isn't clicking….moyes !! Sort it!! Get rid of gana for a start and in summer get us a striker!!! No French, never buy French. Lb n rb too …midfield is overloaded, angus is shite, leeds got rid didn't they !

  2. Barry is a disaster; he can only score goals by tapping the ball in, and sometimes not even that. He's not fast, he doesn't win any physical duels, and by the 20th minute he's already losing his body… And defensively… Jesus Christ… Mikolenko has to be the worst defense in our history, without a doubt.

  3. Another wretched home display – no excuse for playing O’Brien at fullback yet again or for mykolenko’s schoolboy defending. Once again no passion or fight from half of them, start by selecting a new captain who is willing to lead by example.

  4. Why does the bloke on radio merseyside always say the players full names😆How utterly annoying. The co commentators stubbs and pembridge are absolute shite😂

  5. Forget Europe! home form is terrible and Barry is total crap to be honest, Beto just as bad too and ffs Moyes STOP playing Mykolenko, give Aznou and RohI a chance.

  6. Yet again Everton have underperformed, who would be an Evertonian. I have supported this club for over sixty years but wouldn't dream of going to watch them now. Each player earns per week what it would take most supporters two years to earn but are the players worth their wages, absolutely not. If we as mere mortals failed at our job like these players do, we would be out of a job.
They are hopeless in every department.
