  1. A bit over-hated to be honest. No, he wasn’t exactly the striker we thought he’d be but he left on what I would consider to be a fairly decent note. Had an alright year last year and looked to be one of the only players who actually tried last season.

    Talented
    Lazy

You can see the potential in him (something he has always had), sad to see it never fulfilled. He is quite intelligent as a striker, something others lack, along with creativity. A shame how ego and lack of work turns someone like this.
Again he is mid, would not qualify him as garbage, in my opinion way better than that fraud Taremi.

  3. Management overpaid for him and expected him to do way too much for a 35 year old striker at his age. He’s Interista at heart, so I have no resentment. For every great moment he had, he matched it with an equally bad appearance.

He worked extremely hard and you could see the frustration was getting to him. But his qualities simply didn’t fit our style of play and so on. I wish it could’ve gone differently but I feel the board should be blamed more than him for bringing a player that wasn’t comfortable in our system at his age too.

He’s kind of a meme. His time here was full of contradictions.

Old, often injured, dreadfully unlucky, and missed tons of sitters

But a necessary depth piece who had a few dazzling highlights and helped us hoist a historic Scudetto and make a Champions League Final

Scapegoated by fans, beloved by his teammates

He is of course also the one who scored my first in-person Inter goal

He wasn’t very great for us, but I have a slight soft spot for him I guess
