  1. It’s actually his head. The fingers don’t count. You can see a tiny bit of his head is past. That being said, this being classed as offside and needing VAR input is fucked. Need something like umpires call in cricket.

If that’s offside then football is dead. Wirtz got a 5cm allowance against Fulham.

  3. Remember that Wirtz goal against Fulham earlier in the season where they justified it by saying there was a 5cm tolerance for attacking players, was that just a thing for Liverpool?

  4. I hate the CGI. Takes too long.
Conspiracy theory – it’s too open to corrupt decisions.

We’d not accept a cgi image of a photo finish at the grand national.

Why can they show the actual game?
Yes it’d be further away, but they can obviously see the tiny margins to be able to ‘draw’ these.

  5. There is 5cm tolerance margin in league..  Attackers get advantage if they are in that margin..  For me that’s a goal..

  6. Nice to see that we didn’t lose heart after though – good that they kept their heads

They won’t show it again but in the camera angle they showed before bringing up the CGI showed the ball had left Ramsey’s foot. At least a frame after if not 2.

  8. Just to be clear, this is an approximation using the broadcast cameras which are a much lower framerate than the VAR cameras.

Can make the best system in the world (and I’m not saying VAR is the best) but as soon as you rely on the same old corrupt cunts making the decisions it’s as good as useless.
