  1. I’m hoping it’s just mind games, I didn’t watch the game due to being at work so didn’t notice if people were limping off being subbed or after the game?

  2. You’d hope that a half decent side could still do enough to get the job done.

No disrespect to Burton at all, but injuries, knocks and suspensions shouldn’t be any excuse.

I expect them to make a fast start, be on the front foot and closing down up high from the off.

Patience is going to be a big thing and more importantly – taking our chances.

We cannot simply just allow ourselves to sit back in the hope of a counter. They will be up for it – especially on their own turf.

If he’s fit, I’d say we start with Wilson up top.

I think Fernandes will be benched and Soucek in the middle. I’d also give Disasi another start to help him settle.

  3. Bowen was touch and go against Chelsea and had to have a late fitness check so could possibly be him, with that knock catching up to him. Some are saying Pablo too picked up a small knock against Burnley. Others have said Fernandes and Summerville but I think that’s more doom-mongering rather than based on an actual insight.

Todibo is obviously still out for this game and the next as well.

Luckily we have the cup game after so it’s a sizeable break between this and the next league game, hopefully the/those player(s) who are injured can rest for that.

  4. If it’s one of Summerville or Fernandes then we could be in trouble.

Pablo was limping, I like him a lot but with Taty and Wilson it’s not a huge miss like Fernandes would be

  5. > Few knocks from Burnley game, and Nuno has had the team shaped out without a few of those players in training.
