After watching Fulham game yesterday one player really caught my eye, Sander Berge. With the rumour of Tim leaving and Gueye approaching his end of his career got me wondering is he a suitable replacement for the midfield position. And yes, we still got option to buy Rohl but i doubt it will happen considering he’s constantly injured. With the height of 6’5, can dribble his way through the midfield, and dictates the pace of the game. He’s the type of players Moyes would love to have, whats your thoughts?

My thoughts are that my head may explode if we sign any other players before we sign a fullback.
Rohl is an obligation to buy, so we don’t have the option, we’re buying him
Jimmy Garner is right there. We don’t need a replacement for Gueye, we need a shift in mentality which means we don’t need to use one of our 6 ‘attacking’ options purely to win the ball back.
Garner showed during the AFCON, that he can not only do that, but given his ability on and with the ball, can do it better than Gueye. He becomes the pivot and allows the selection of another central midfielder who can advance the ball alongside KDH.
Rohl can do it, Alvarez can do it. Hayden Hackney at Middlesbrough can do it better than both of them.
The club need to be more positive moving forwards.
