Finally Liverpool have been called out… Hopefully they do the right thing and adjust the deal but something tells me they would rather see Elliots value tank than give us an extra player to see out the season. This was posted in the premier league Reddit and Liverpool fans have just swarmed it blaming villa for this whole situation and saying we are causing the problem by not giving them the 35 mil they are owed apparently but I think it'd way more complicated like that either way Liverpool are the ones who have the means to end this situation pain free for everyone.

He won’t play unless they change the clauses. It’s that simple and then he’ll go back to them.
If they don’t change it, they don’t change it.
Don’t forget this is Liverpool fans you talking about everything happens to them and they don’t do anything to anybody else.
They’ll all innocent, and everyone is after them.
I’m ready for downvotes because yes Liverpool are hindering their own player so they don’t help a top four rival. However, we hired Monchi. We as a club took the initial deal. I feel like there’s enough blame to go around to anyone who isn’t Elliott.
I would be happy if this means we never did business with Liverpool again
On Elliott situation it’s not there fault
Villa *are* kind of the bad guys here. Why did we sign a player on deadline day that Emery didn’t want? Monchi was sacked over this.
Why would Liverpool renegotiate a deal to benefit the team directly above them in the table? Elliot will still be worth £25m+ next year.
Emery should call out whoever at Villa agreed the deal. Ridiculous to accuse Liverpool of anything in this particular situation.
