Farcical. Whatever happened to a player being ineligible because he'd already played for another club in the competition?
Under current ruling, a player is eligible to play in the Final as long as he was signed before the Semi Final first leg. As a result, Semenyo is able to play.

There isn’t any harm in asking. Don’t think City expected a positive response anyway but given their injury crisis, asking doesn’t hurt. Now if they moan about it and play victims in the press, then it will be truly farcical.
