i was getting so frustrated that lamine was ignoring his weak foot and kept cutting the ball to his left foot to try and create a scoring opportunity, and the moment he finally did use his weak foot around the middle of the second half and skied the ball over the bar, it just made all the sense in the world

I thought the team played well. The press was excellent and gave Elche no time. The finishing was awful, though. It was almost comical, but I didn't doubt that we could score as we were able to get in behind. Yamal was on form and gave them a really hard time. Frenkie was again excellent, although I think his booking keeps him out of the next game.
Let's be real we'll never be the best defensive team in the world with Flick's tactics, even with world class defenders.
