I commented about his height elsewhere. I think that is the issue, but I want to make it clear I think this is ridiculous. Leo fucking Messi is 5’7. Why is it unthinkable that someone who isn’t 6ft can add something to a team?

He’s obviously talented but I still haven’t seen enough from him to warrant us signing him. Plus let’s be honest if he was that good Liverpool wouldn’t be trying to get rid.

Not sure I’ve ever seen a player so screwed over by contract details. If Liverpool would just drop the obligation to buy it would help him out massively, but I suppose that would help us out too which is why they won’t…
