Chelsea fan here in peace, I wanted to let you guys know as much as you could about him.

Disasi was brought in before the 23/24 season, and in that season he played quite alot of minutes in the league. Poch seemed to trust him and he played alongside Colwill most of the time. When Maresca came in his minutes were reduced, he primarily played in conference league and cup ties, before being sent out on loan to Villa.

Off the ball, Disasi was decent. Terrible 1v1 defender, but he was an aggressive tackler, physically empowering, and superb in the air. Whenever we parked the bus, he was immense. He is the definition of a box defender. On top of that, he is a very reliable set piece threat. Here's a nice compliation of his best performance for us. https://www.tiktok.com/@darrencfc/video/7397779170698202401

On the ball, he was probably the worst center back I've ever seen. He is very much a confidence player, whenever he was in form his passing was good. But I can't count with the number of hairs on my head how many times this guy gave the ball away whenever we played out from the back. He looked like shitting himself whenever the ball was at his feet. Here's a good video that sums this up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t74xz7gHy0o

He also hasn't played in the PL for half a year and there are many clips of him being skinned whilst playing for the U-21s.

But alas, he seems a passionate lad, and he behaved like a top professional given the circumstances. I could definitely seem him becoming immense for you guys.

  1. Thanks for the insight. A box defender is what we need to shore up games once we’re ahead, so could work out.

  2. You’re bald right? Right?

I’ve learned to hold off on assessing central defenders when they arrive at our club. No one expected Dawson to be mustard, and personally I was expecting calm, confident, crisp caressing of balls from Kilman. Alas.
