Genuine question, what are we missing here? Something just feels off. How has he gone – in the space of five months – from England international linked with top clubs to being loaned to an almost relegated side with a £6m option to buy? The terms seem incredibly generous, was there no other PL club willing to take a punt on him with such low risk? I know I’m coming across as very pessimistic – but what don’t we know?

Seems like a really good deal for him, apparently the buy clause is only 7M? Seems actually talented too

Best part about this is he doesn’t take up a super valuable international spot. Pretty sure he’s considered homegrown too ( could be wrong)
