  1. He better be fucking dynamite for that. While hearts pick up randoms for £20 and they are starters right away.

£4.7m is a big outlay, no-one can accuse the board of being gun-shy. Lets hope the scouting department have done their job. Welcome to the famous!

Hopefully the scouts know what they’re doing and see huge potential in him to justify 5 mil.

Hoping for an Igamane 2.0 here

  4. Let me get this straight, either we drop Chermiti and we wasted way too much on a project striker, or Naderi doesn’t play much and we wasted way too much on a project striker. Maybe Thelwell wasn’t the problem after all.

  5. This feels like a massive gamble in a time where we needed a stick on goalscorer.

    €5.5m from the German 3rd division…

We’ve maybe just used whatever loan fee we would’ve paid for Archer + his wages and put it towards this.

If we can get a couple million for Danilo, then he’s basically free. Right?

Don’t know what all the fuss is about when we signed a guy for £10m who hadn’t scored a men’s goal lol

  8. Feel like we’ve had our pants pulled down by a 3rd tier German club

The guy might well be good enough, but 5.5m is a hell of a gamble

Glad it’s done (once I see the scarf pic).

Yes it’s a lot of money but for me the Chermiti deal was far more absurd (for double that- at least this guy has played some football). The combo of unwilling to sell, January window and last day has pushed the price right up.

Would have been far worse to exit the window with the same three strikers that we went in with. It’s clear we need an edge.

Welcome Ryan. Please score lots of goals.

  10. This hasn’t been finalised.

“Rangers have yet to finalise an agreement for striker Ryan Naderi despite reports in Germany that the 22-year-old had clinched a dream move to Ibrox. However, negotiations are now in the final stages as all parties seek a resolution before 11pm.” – Rangers Review.
