I don't trust any Arsenal links anymore. We just make so much noise about the targets and someone else would snatch it away within minutes. I'll only get excited when the player has signed.

Leave it to Piers to disingenuously use players from 10(Beckham) and 30(Linekar) years ago, when fitness, diet, and nutrition were nowhere near the levels it is today. The reason why Lewandowski, Messi, Ronaldo, Modric, Busquets, and others are able to extend their career is because of that. Also w.r.t Ronaldo would have liked to play for 2 more seasons in CL, He'd be pushing 40 .. If he does not track back now when most systems require counter press from the top, do u think he would then .. I love how Piers Morgan contradicts himself. First, he says Ronaldo is “the greatest of all time” and then he goes on to say that “a lot of players have gone to play in Japan”, with “a lot of players” being the operative phrase. So, you’re basically saying that Ronaldo is no different than a lot of players? Make up your mind!
Players that like the club, the players, the project, the prospect, & not overly money hungry are the only one's Arsenal need! Arsenal fans don't even care about the name anymore, its about mentality first!!
I reckon the midfield of arsenal is solid asf right now probably the best in the league (playing right now, not best names thats still city) they dont need a new "starter" in these positions… they need a sub for if there are injuries or for tough schedules i reckon they need someone slightly less whos happy on the bench
