I don’t have an issue with the goal being ruled out, if we had that goal go against us then I’d be raging.
My issue is that the refs & linesmen have used it as an excuse to not do their jobs and let the VAR sort it out later. This has led to players getting injured in clear offsides, corners being given following a clear offside and goals from them, yellow cards not being given because it might be a red and VAR will give that.
If the refs still did their job to the required standard then we wouldn’t have half the issues we do now.
