With me being a fan of the Welsh team there’s absolutely no bias at all, but I’d have loved to have him here.

Maybe the club’s just doing what I always do in Football Manager – make a nonsense bid now so that the player gets unsettled and doesn’t sign a new contract, then get him for free in the summer.
