Makes sense. Unless we sign another striker this window, which seems unlikely now that all links to en neysri and others have dwindled, theres no way we can finish the season with just 1 striker. We need a backup and at least Beto works hard and is a good character.
Having said all that, sign a fucking RB please.
Zhegrova is shocking and we couldn’t afford to lose Beto without a direct replacement anyway, It’s crazy to think that a club of Juventus’ prestige would even consider him.
Zhegrova is my dream Toffee signing. He has the same archetype as Illiman. Insane potential wasted at Juventus, just like Skilli was at Marseille. I told my friend about a year ago how he’d be perfect for us. Wish we pursue him.
