Moyes weighs up Adam Aznou loan exit: “There’s opportunities for him to go and we’ll decide that in the next few days. I’m not sure that he would get the opportunities in the position we bought him to play, so I need to think how I can do it.”

  1. Remember your recency bias gang, Myko isn’t awful just because of one generational stinker against Leeds.

  2. It’s clear that Moyes doesn’t rate him atm but he did look good when he played, don’t understand how he’s not getting any minutes when our fullbacks have been so bad going forward

  3. Surely with Grealish gone for the rest of the season there would atleast be sub opportunities at Lm atleast late in the game

Been obvious that he was leaving since the Mansfield game. Just an absolute mess of a transfer for all parties. Aznou cost himself an AFCON and likely WC squad place and we got a player the manager blatantly doesn’t rate. A loan only really benefits if we are looking to sell in the summer, all the talk is he needs to bulk up, he’s not going to do that abroad and no championship side will start him with his size.

As I’ve said previously, there was a big disconnect between what the manager and what the committee wanted this summer. A disconnect that needs addressing for this summer.

  5. Be actually mental to do this considering the size of the squad, Grealish’s injury, and the fact we won’t sign anyone.

  6. Maybe at least experiment again with the back 3 and give him a go, he’ll have less defensive work to do and he seems better than Myko at going forward. Oh well, looking forward to JoB in RB when the lineups out

Which position was he bought to play in?
