ON THIS DAY 2022:
Having already secured Kieran Trippier, Chris Wood and Bruno Guimaraes, Eddie Howe’s squad was boosted further on transfer deadline day by the signings of defensive pair Matt Targett and Dan Burn.
Targett was secured on a loan deal from Aston Villa, while Burn was a claimed £13m capture from Brighton and Hove Albion.(nufc.com)
