As an American who loves premier league football please stay the course! A rebuild takes time! Go back and look how much time Alex Ferguson took! Patience is key! Stay the course!
A totally different era. That's a bit like comparing McEnroe from the wooden rackets era to Federer. Even Utd fans agree that Fergie would never have survived in his job in the present day Premiership. The Premiership is a results based league. Coaches no longer have the time because they're expected to hit the road running. Moreover, in Fergie's day, it was usually a 2 horse race, whereas now there are several teams that could win the Premiership, and the middle section of teams more than have a bearing on who wins it. The problem with Frank is that this team was actually 3rd during the first month of this season, and it's now 14th!!! If we don't get any points from February's fixtures, which looks unlikely, we could be in a relegation battle by March. Remaining in the Premiership is paramount for Spurs.
