Curtis Jones is close to joining inter on loan with a 40 milion € clause. Once this will be done, frattesi would be free to join notthingam

According to Liverpool sources they aren’t letting any first team players leave the club and that includes Jones. Knowing Inter’s history with transfers both Frattesi and Jones will stay at their current clubs.

€40 million for him? No thanks. These guys really have no idea how to do transfers. At this point, after what I’ve seen from the summer until January, I’d give a budget — say €50 million — to Chivu and tell him to work together with his staff to look for players that actually fit the way he wants to play and to make a shortlist. I’m sure they’d find better options than these last-minute names that pop up out of nowhere, like they were picked by a kid on FIFA.

And that would be normal anyway — Chivu has earned the right to have transfers and to make them himself. Look at Bonny, that was an inspired move and Bonny is a useful player. Honestly, I’d rather have Chivu bring in that guy from Parma who used to be his player and plays as a midfielder, instead of Jones — who’s overrated anyway, mostly because he’s English, and those guys always come with inflated prices compared to what they’ve actually achieved.

I’d rather keep Frattesi so he can score another last minute goals in CL.
