When Liverpool signed Kolo Toure he was 32 years old. Upamecano is only 27 years old.
So are we not expecting upamecano to demand atleast 250-300k a week salary + massive signing on fee? It's just all rumours by the agent to get the player higher offer.
Upamecano is short with no pace. 😢
He's more error prone than Konate, who on his day can be great but other days clumsy.
Upamecano is easily top3 defenders in the world in the last 2 seasons… the “problem” is not age, since he is 27 yo and schlotterbeck and bastoni have 26 yo, but i think his wage demand would be high

These two would be great option and put some competition and pressure and challenge on current van dijk and konate to perform better or risk dropped to bench if perform poorly. Besides, these tow could be the future partner cb for years to come. But again as usual, slot, richard hughes and michael edwards will somehow messed it up.
Iv never rated konate. I think he’s over rated and Liverpool can see that that’s why he can go for free. He’s not been good enough
