It was refreshing watching Rodri get sent off against Bodo Glimt. Two yellow card offences, two yellow cards. Could see the pure shock in his eyes.
Just doesn’t happen in the Prem, referees bottle the big calls, either not to ‘ruin the ‘spectacle of the game’ or because they haven’t got enough about them to make the big call.
You could even see it with the Garner one, he realised he was on a yellow and didnt foul him on the half way line, but realised when he got near the box he had to do something, and the ref bottled it.
