Benfica doing a mircale beating madrid and eliminating Marseille (Karma for singing a rapist), Enzo barrenechea only played 10 minutes as he was subbed on quite late, i miss characters like mourinho, this game brought those feeling that made football great.

I wanted Benfica to win, but also wanted Man City to have to play another fixture too, couldn’t decide until the comedy unfolded in front of me, glad Benfica won in the end.
i was watching this game and i have to say, i might have screamed a bit too loudly when benfica’s keeper scored. i was rooting for them today because a) why not, b) as someone who has zero knowledge of the portuguese league, i quite like them and c) i’m not fond of this real madrid team. also, one of the things i’d never seen (before today) in football was a keeper scoring a last minute goal, so i got to tick that one off my bucket list today.
