Its a back 3 rather than a back 5, the wingback are counted as part of the midfield. Its important that they don’t get pushed too far back but its gonna be a tough game. A draw would be a really good result tonight.

I think the plan is to be really tough to break down in the first half, hopefully tire them out and frustrate them and then switch to a more strictly attacking lineup in the second half and hope to god PSG is too tired to deal with Gordon, Barnes, and Wissa coming off the bench. Right? That is the only logic I can see here.

I think this is a setup which gives us a chance of nicking it, while also rotating.
Men behind the ball. Get it to Elanga with space to run into, or hope Wolte can do something magic/score a header.
Weve also got Thiaw, Burn and Botman so will have a decent set threat.
