Meaningless
51/49 in favour of getting European football vs not getting it.
We really need England to get the extra place + The FA Cup being won by a club with Europe secured (or us, ideally) to swing that more our way. Because frankly the way we’ve played this season… I don’t trust us to swing things our way entirely on our own merits.
If we miss out on CL think Europa or conference would be really important for us in our progression as a club (obviously not as good as CL financially etc), but we need that constant practice of the European schedule so we’re totally used to it, and of course both tournaments would actually be winnable which is a huge bonus. Our current mini cycle of CL or no Europe at all is probably quite jarring for everyone at the club and hard to adapt to
