Since USA is sending ICE agents to Olympic Games in Italy, I believe that chance off them being present (in concerningly large numbers, perhaps even as “primary security force”) in games of World Cup has risen exponentially, which could be seriously dangerous for everyone involved. Your thoughts?

I don’t see any scenario where ICE isn’t going to be incredibly present during World Cup games in the US. Trump already said they’re going to be at the Super Bowl too.
They’ll be at the Super Bowl, an event which will be attended overwhelmingly by native-born citizens. I hope people thinking about traveling to the US for the World Cup are aware of the implications for a series of events attended by huge numbers of non-citizens.
If you are a tourist coming to USA for the World Cup, make sure you are White and you will be fine.

What about the players? Being confined to your hotel because if you step outside you might get sent to el Salvador or shot doesn’t sound conducive to good football. Are the players and staff from travel ban countries even allowed in?
