But we badly need him to be coached into actually doing off the ball work and we need to pray to God he puts a shift in to be like the old Luiz and not the one we saw in the last six months of our last season with him…

Will be really nice to see him back. Seeing that Luiz & Buendia link-up again will be lovely and with Tielemans out this is now a pretty perfect solution to a really unfortunate problem.
With Onana or Bogarde in there with him, he won’t have to be doing the bulk of the defensive work like he was last time he was filling in for Kamara, so that’s a good thing too.

Makes sense, especially with the injury news today. Knows the club, knows the system and will settle quickly. He’s struggled since leaving but I imagine Unai can get the best out of him again.
