A couple of good results sure, and top 5 for CL is definitely in the question, but chill out with title talks.

  2. ItsThe__Implication on

Realistically it’s Arsenal and Man City. Aston Villa absolutely deserve to be in the conversation, but I think they’ll fall off. Everyone below that is as good as out, barring an absolute collapse from Arsenal/Man City.

It’s delusion like this that happened after Ole, ETH and Amorim. Will United fans ever learn or de wo have to deal with insufferable non-sense like this every year they get a new manager?

  4. We are focusing on top 4/5 to get Champions league, we are not genuinely thinking about the title race.

Jesus christ guys. Yes, Man U played really well last two games, big wins. But come on now.

  6. Commercial_Half_2170 on

Yes it sure has, only 15 games to win on the trot to win the league!

    What a daft article

  7. Independent-Suit-835 on

As a United fan, this is delusional…

I want a villa win the emery ego will end arteta

  8. Character-Key7538 on

Just stupid. I’m not one of these who blindly hates United, but the rhetoric surrounding them is fucking exhausting and it must do sensible fans heads in.

less than 1 % …… WOW I REALLY HAVE MY HOPES UP…… We just have to win all games while 3 teams lose 4-5 matches each. Piece of cake really . We are winning the league !1!!!1!111111

  10. look I’m not one to generally believe there is media bias toward any particular club, but what with Andy Townsend declaring “Manchester United are back” emphatically on comms at full time yesterday and now this this morning… well errr

  11. I said two weeks ago, he was going to beat us and Arsenal then United fans would lose their minds, like they do every season.

Did the same with Amorim when he beat us (even had a banner “will City ever win again” because they obviously don’t care)
Did the same with Ten Hag
    Did the same with Ole

Wonder if they were “back” all those times.

See what happens when Spurs high block and you can not counter attack. City And Arsenal are never going to play that way.

  13. Lol classic ESPN tabloid stirring shit. No, we are not in a title race.

Also, who still trusts ESPN these days? They are shit!

  14. I wouldnt be surprised if carrick will stay just like ole and will be given permanent role

  15. SammieKijkOmhoog on

I wouldn’t even be mentally ready for that lol. Already going to be glad if we secure European football.

  16. DexterMorgan996 on

Come on, yes they were better we suck, but let’s be real.

You are doing all this for a reason, putting pressure on them only to bash them when they lose.

  17. This isn’t fair on utd fans to be mocked like that.
Let them enjoy their win in peace

Title challengers, tut tut….shameful from that shite site

  18. Wait until the next 2 matches. If Arsenal and City cannot get full points, while Manchester United can, then it’s on title race. Otherwise, it is not yet.

  19. Accomplished-Ad2736 on

Checks notes… this means Liverpool and Chelsea are also back into the title race!

  20. That win has given United a huge false sense of confidence (especially their pundits)

Credit them for beating us but their goals came from a gift/mistake and 2 worldies, outside of that they created nothing at all. They’ve also already gone out of the FA cup at home to Brighton, let’s see how they fare when they’re not playing an injury ridden City on the counter or an Arsenal team shooting themselves in the foot

  21. Given GD, Arsenal would need to drop 13 points more than United in the remaining 15 games, while also hoping that City and Villa drop 8 more than United. I suppose it’s possible if United go on a 17-match winning streak to end the season.

Some would call that slightly wishful thinking.

  22. Weirdly I get it. United have 1 game a week for the rest of the season. Arsenal, City, Villa, Liverpool, they all have 2 games a week.

I don’t think they’re going to win it, but it wouldn’t shock me if they close the gap.

  23. Not sure United are getting that trophy, hard challenge. Maybe next year if they can keep this up but rn even Arsenal seems shaky and United tend to mess up against bottom table teams. What am I saying? It’s a premier league style losing when it’s not even necessary

  24. Well that’s good news then, we still have to play Arsenal again so you can’t count us out just yet…

  25. The only thing more daft than this article is fans of other clubs commenting on this post as if United fans believe we’re in a title race. The best united could to this season, if the stars align, is maybe catching 3rd. For all the giddiness of the last 8 days, I still think Europa league is the sensible expectation.
