Take the money and run. The last thing we want is a player who doesn’t want to be with us during a relegation scrap.

  2. Yeah gave it all the big badge kissing at the Villa match but ultimately when we need everyone together he wants to jump ship.

Moments of glory but overall a rank attitude, get the cash, invest it well and move on.

Im okay with him going brazil there would still be premier league clubs interested in him even on poor form and he doesnt seem to be pushing for that. Clean break hes probably sick of the fa

  4. As much as I like Paquetá, we must sell him before the January transfer window closes, as we are playing much better without him in the team.

  5. Let him go.

The Pass™ was enough to cement him as a legend, but he’s not ever matched that level since then, is clearly suffering from some serious mental health issues after the trauma of the investigation (which is no slight on his character – at the end of the day, it’s a long-term injury and should be respected as such – it’s not his fault at all but we wouldn’t field a player with any other type of injury so we shouldn’t be playing Paq when getting booked could lead to him having an episode), and his “try something pretty and see if it works” style is a luxury that no team can afford during a relegation dogfight.

I’ve no ill-will towards the man, and I absolutely understand why he wants to go home after all he’s been through.

But if we’ve shown that we are literally better off without him, and if going back home is what he needs to heal, then there is no downside from either side to pushing this move through.

Thanks for The Pass, Paq, and we wish you well. But it’s beyond time that you left, now.
