Mark Goldbridge reacts to reports that Manchester United are considering bringing Marcus Rashford back. Goldbridge says accepting the move would be the biggest mistake of Rashford’s career, especially while he’s on loan at Barcelona — one of the best teams in the world and competing for trophies. He argues Rashford should stay where he’s valued, stable, and winning, instead of returning to chaos at United.

  1. He’s literally saying every player that’s linked with us. Should turn us down because they can do better. Our fan base does not hate this man enough.

  2. Barca dont want to pay not because they dont have the money, its because they dont want to make the same mistake like united did for ages of him becoming a muppet once he gets his contract, they have watched long enough to see how he performed at united =dog shit
Good on barca for low balling, hopefully they ball more !

  3. Rashy is not a fighter ,he is a puss. But he'll be back at united sadly . Barca fancy Nico Williams and Barca will get Williams this summer ,they failed last time ,but Barca and Real always get what they want in Spain so. .. Rashford was filling the gap for Barcelona. United shouldn't agree to this deal at all but we soo weak in the transfer negotiations ,we so bad ,it hurts. So next season he'll be back ,unhappy ,unwilling to fight with 300k per week ,making him impossible for sale ,pushing 30 ,pushing the end of his contract,no one will want him. This man turns out to be a big weasel

  4. He’ll probably end up like Sancho and just keep going out on loan until his contract finally expires. If he comes back he’ll have to get used to the bench and I don’t think he would be happy about that

  5. Imagine this

Rashford wants Barca but doesn’t want a low wage.

Barca want Rashford but don’t want to pay

Both sides will be actively working against United and leveraging the club to foot the bill here. How will this happen you say?

    – United wave Rashford off with a payoff from the fee agreed already and he accepts a lower wage.

    – United let Rashford go for a lesser fee than in the clause and Barca use that to increase Marcus wage offer

    – a combination

United are not in a strong position, he’s contracted till 2028 and it’s about Ā£34M and Rashford can just let it fall through, collect that money and go on loan next year somewhere else after the World Cup.

How do United regain a bit of leverage – make him and Barcelona think we’ve changed manager, changed system and want him back by releasing these stories, manipulate the R etards in the media.
