He's had plenty of games by now and we see what we get. Nothing much. Its not just players who don't perform – although we have far too many. Dyche is a man often seemingly devoid of tactics. He apparently wants to bang crosses in to a tall number 9. Is that his only plan? Meanwhile he calls out players against Wrexham as not good enough and then plays them again a few games later to possibly the worst performance of a disastrous season. Why did we not start tonight with our best side, get a lead and then pull off the guys we need to protect? Sending out inadequates to put in a non-performance achieves nothing and Dyche is leading us nowhere. He is a Megson clone.

He was only here to see us out the rest of the season, no way hes for the long term

We honestly played better football under Ange. Needs to go instantly at the end of the season and got to pray to god we dont get relegated

  3. I think he’s gone at the end of the season. No way he’ll go before, he’ll keep us up. But EM is going to want a much better showing next year. I suspect Marco Silva will be here next year.

I’d say he was never meant for longer than this season anyway. Unless he worked some completely unrealistic miracle.
However he is much worse than expected and I agree with everything you say here.

  5. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gone before, clearly lost the players already. Evident in that Yates interview.

  6. The whole club needs a big reset in the summer, build a new squad from cashing in on a couple big names. Get a manager who knows tactics from this century

i think he might be the most depressing manager we’ve had since alex mcleish. what a pathetic team we’ve become, not all his fault but fucking hell he’s exacerbated it. good riddance, send him to qatar asap

  8. There’s definitely a list of managers we would be having talks with. He will keep us up, big send off on his final game, new manager announced and they will get a full transfer window and preseason.

  9. Let’s be honest, in hindsight the early results were vibes. Everyone felt better after the horrendous Ange era. I was delighted we had someone that came in who knew and bigged up the club, and not their own personal trophy cabinet whilst playing loser football.

But since we lost to Brighton, we’ve been dreadful in near enough every single game that wasn’t against a Sky6 team.

He can talk himself up like he’s now in fashion because set pieces are in, but the top managers who’ve seen the benefits of this aren’t playing the most dispiriting brand of football.

It’s going to be an absolutely dour 4 months ahead and that’s where it should end. We’d be mad not to be lining someone up in this period to take over almost immediately once the season is done.

  10. Hand on heart, it would not surprise me if he doesn’t even last til the end of this season. Not saying it’s right or wrong, but it would not surprise me.

  11. Part of the issue though is that pretty much all the new signings that came in this year are total wank. He’s only got the main 11 and outside of that there’s no one else he can trust to play. Look at Wrexham and this game – when he tries to play them or has to play them it goes to shit. We’ve spent a shitload of money to have a worse squad than last year.

  12. World’s best manager (Jay from the Inbetweeners btw) wouldn’t be able to get this load of shit to perform, sacking managers only works to a certain point.

    Clear out is needed.
