      dont want Edwards back, I'm open to correction but didn't he have an attitude problem? also – 2 good games against Spurs doesn't mean we should buy him!

      Go Bugsy! Good video Sean, excellent insight. Let me ask you this – just pure speculation on your part – do you think at the end of this January window, Spurs will have addressed the major concerns in the squad or do you think it'll be a close run thing but underwhelming?

      To be fair, we do have 6 centrebacks. Yes the standard needs to be upgraded a lot, but if Conté has to make compromises then I can see why the CB positions can wait until the summer.
      Come the summer though, that defence definitely needs big upgrades.

      It's always the same old story with SPURS. Just need quality in. Not Bargin basement signings .Poch is waiting for the Chelsea job if Potter gets sacked in paper. Sean needs CB RWB SM.. Love your walkes with your lovely dog.

      I read or heard somewhere that Paratici tried to sign Hincapie for Juventus. That could be why he wants him at Spurs. Also his fee will be much less than Gvardiol or Bastoni (don't see him ever leaving Inter). Which suits Spurs as well. He has a similar profile to Romero. Very aggressive and likes to get forward. Majority of our players are 6 ft or taller, so I'm less worried about height on corners. I will also say that the league doesn't have a load of big target men. It's becoming more technical, fast, false 9s/inside forward than just big lumps up top. Most teams want to press the back line with small, quick players.

      100% on Lenglet he has played well and with effort, cult hero Romero (who I do really rate and like) was clearly dodging games to stay fit for Argentina.

      Sean you won't remember, but I said before Dier's slide in form, we need to prioritise RB, MF and maybe a Forward and after that look at the left side. It's only Dier lately that has got fans screaming for a CB. I'm standing by that original list. COYS!

      Can player make weights factor into a release clause? In other words, could we say put a value of 20 MN on Royal and pay the rest in cash to get Porto? The only concern may be wages. Porro is on 29K per week and Royal on 40K. Effectively Sporting would be paying 1/3 more in wages for a seemingly inferior player. But, who knows? There is widely held view that Royal just ain't right for the English game and it is not out of the question that he would flourish in Portugal. There is also the language issue. Because he is a native Portuguese speaker, settling down in his new surroundings would be that much easier. Assuming a four year deal is agreed, the additional wage expense on Porro would represent an additional investment of 2.2 MN by Sporting. For the reasons I mentioned above, I think they wouldn't do badly to look at Royal as a makeweight payment for Porro's release clause.

      Hincapie? Ndicka is cheaper and BETTER. Understand Ndicka is looking for 160K/week in wages. Don't think anybody will pay him that. So we can be patient on this one I believe.

      We buy players on credit – credit catches up! Get it done soon is an oxymoron when it comes to spurs! I like Lenglet too but this is spurs! Yes, Sarr is looking good – great video again!

      Be very surprised if we are really looking at edwards, even his manager now is saying he still doesn’t train properly, I know spence was accused of having a bad attitude but we’ve seen edwards poor attitude for ourselves and we got rid of him because of it.

      Now that the Qatari’s are giving us a £billion to spend on our rebuild will they also do us a deal on mbappe, neymar and hakimi ?

      On a serious note if I were the Qataris I would be transferring resources to a premier league club like spurs from psg, the ceiling is a lot lower in Ligue 1 and it doesn’t help them in the champions league playing against weaker opposition week in week out. They can have far more influence owning a premier league club all they would have to do is reduce their share of psg to a minority share as they increase their share in spurs to a majority share, i just don’t know if Enic want to sell and I don’t actually think they need the money.

      I don't see Sporting will be selling both players.. Pedro is highly likely to come rather than Edwards or both… Edwards gives deli vibes and has training issues? Plus better attacking midfielders out there aka mohammed kudus? There is rumors that inter is interested in Royal so a swap deal with Bastoni? or 2 two defenders? Hincapie is great / Max from wolves is another good option.

      “We know the sort of people they are” – um what do you mean about that exactly? – sounds a bit anti-Semitic to me – ENIC are the owners – it is their business – why do so many supporters struggle with this concept at virtually every club? – we the fans are just committed long term buyers of their product – I know supporters want to think about things differently especially when things aren’t going well but that is the reality – people have got to realise that supporters interests are never going to be 100% aligned with those of the owners – the owners that are close to supporters are far and few between (Abramovich for example) but that is because they are supporters first and owners second and most are not so like minded and put their business interests first – the best fans can hope for is a decent middle ground but even that can change without the principal owner changing as a business entity – Leicester might be a good example of this because a business entity own the club rather than a specific individual – as in the case of Spurs – imo the problem at Spurs is not so much a lack of financial support but has more to do with what the club has done with the money it has been given by the owners – this is not just a Spurs issue either – look at Man U and even Everton more recently – I would love to know how the buying process actually works at Spurs – how do we keep on buying expensive players that our HC at the time then ends up not playing regularly – that is our single biggest problem

      So I’ve been subbed for a little while and keep up the great content!
