Soccer/football is actually the most played youth sport in America… The problem has come in years past is development, but this has been fast improving between MLS academies like Philly Unions and Red Bulls… Now though the USL is completing America’s soccer pyramid becoming the fastest growing league here. USL is helping recruitment/development from what used to “soccer/football deserts” here in America.

Thanks for the podcast. I knew the team Leeds United but never paid much attention. I've followed individual american players in europe since the 80's. Even before the internet 🙂 ! I followed Kellar , Friedal, Reyna, Howard, (McBride, Dempsey, Bocanegra, Lewis, etc.) Pulisic at chelsea etc. I follow these random teams because I care about our national team doing better and I like spirit behind these various teams. Okay, I have soured on Chelsea fans, they turn on a dime. Really, like the way the Leeds fans are as excited for good things this season as we are. I hope our players continue to contribute.

Great stuff he’s such a likeable guy.. really like whole team but as an American every Saturday morning is now anxiety ridden for me.. if you told me Leeds would be 2-2-2 with 8 point from first 6 and drop a 3-0 on Chelsea, before the season started I would have def taken it.. Nottingham at home is a big opportunity to put up 3 more.
