  1. Lockdown season under deano and first unai half season, plus mings not losing any games last season probably are the majority

  2. It feels like this table should actually be sorted by % of games with a clean sheet, as that’s a fairer comparison than just number of games. Gallas and Terry would be top by a mile, but Mings and Konsa would potentially be a couple of places higher.

  3. Mings is a defensive force when he’s in form and has great presence and strength, which we often lack. Unfortunately, he’s not as creative as Pau when it comes to attacking and playing those quick through balls that get us up the pitch rapidly, so he doesn’t fit into Emery’s system as well. Personally I would like to see Mings play a bit more, especially in those moments where we need to be really strong defensively and shut teams down.

    Lindeloff having a 30+% with Maguire is something I didn’t expect to see on this list at all. Mings and Konsa were rocks for a solid period there for a while
