If he is injury free and gives a shit, that’s a good addition (return?). It will definitely give us reinforcements in midfield.
However Roma seem to want him gone (I suspect this might be linked to the other business too), and the cancelling of his loan means we now lose the loan fee and have to pick up his wages again…which might limit what we can do elsewhere

1. He’s going somewhere, like Besiktas, as part of a bigger deal.
2. He’s our new forward signing for the rest of the season so that the Malen money can go on a midfielder.
