Anthony Gordon hate needs to stop – he has his ups and downs, but is absolutely world class when he’s on and it isn’t just measured in goals.

  2. After another Gordon cardio session, this post came up to me.

One full fucking year of Gordon not scoring in the league and we decide to play him more than Harvey Barnes AND force Harvey Barnes to play in his least preferred position.

A conversation is needed to move him to the bench.

In that same time Barnes has unreal numbers considering he is always getting shunted to the right to accommodate Gordon

Its about time he moves over to the right of moves to the bench

The manager and his predictable system isn’t helping. The scouts who decided Elanga the track star was worth all that money should be sent to the Saudi royal jail. Sancho on loan would have been better than that bum. Hell some teenager from the French league would probably be better.

  5. Barnes was probably too shagged to start, especially with one eye on PSV next week.

Which would have meant putting what, Elanga in the Left?

    Gordon had to play tbh.

He’s been poor but has the ability, we just need to see it.

    Goals don’t define him.

Likewise, Tonali hasn’t scored this season in any competition but again that’s not his main role. But nobody is calling Sando out for it?

  6. 100%, zero end result for a long period of time, and penalty taking basically padding his stats.

Barnes needs to be starting LW. Murphy probably RW. Zero reason Barnes shouldn’t be getting his preferred position when we’re crying out for someone to put the ball in the net.

Gordon / Elanga need to try and earn the spots off those 2.

Out of interest, what would you do with our midfield 3? Something needs to change there as well

Should cash in while his value is high after the summer. Because you know he will actually turn up and play with desire for England
