Hi guys completely unrelated but just wanted other people’s opinions as well: I am travelling from
North of Netherlands to North of Germany. I took an early morning train and encountered some drunk Hooligans trying to interact and provoke me in the train as well as while I was boarding. I just stared at them and continued using my phone and eventually they did exit the train but the whole experience was unsettling for me. I didn’t speak anything in English just to not make it obvious to them that I am a foreigner. I just wanted to ask, what is the best way to deal with this? On the streets when this happens I know the best way is to just be cautious and ignore their existence but for the first time I have had this experience where they just targeted me so just wanted to know if not engaging with them is still the best way to deal with these situations?
